1. India e-Visa for Ivorian citizens
Depending on the reason for visiting—such as tourism, visiting friends, business, or medical care—India offers several types of e-Visas
Nationals of Côte d'Ivoire can apply for any of the electronic visas issued by the Indian government as long as they follow the rules for visiting the nation.
- Indian e-Tourist Visa: This visa is available with 1-month, 1-year, or 5-year validity. Depending on the visa type, travelers may stay up to 30 or 90 days per visit, and longer-validity e-Tourist visas allow multiple entries.
- Indian e-Business Visa: This visa is valid for 1 year from the date of issuance. Ivorian citizens traveling for business activities, conferences, or meetings may stay in India for up to 180 days in total.
- Indian e-Conference Visa: This visa is valid for 4 months from issuance and is intended for government-organized conferences or seminars. It allows a single entry and a maximum stay of 30 days from the date of arrival.
- Indian e-Medical Visa: This visa is valid for 4 months from issuance and allows Ivorian patients to stay in India for up to 60 days for medical treatment.
- India Ayush visa: The Government of India's Heal in India program has created a new AYUSH (AY) Visa category. It is particularly developed for foreign citizens seeking medical care in India using Ayush or other traditional Indian medical systems. This visa applies to people seeking therapeutic care and well-being through traditional medicine. The Ayush Visa is valid for 60 days from the date of arrival and permits triple-entry.
The India e-Medical Attendant visa, which is only available to a maximum of two members of a family from Cote d'Ivoire, can be obtained by relatives of individuals who have applied for an Indian e-Medical visa. The duration of validity is identical to that of the e-Medical visa, as are the prerequisites for entry into the country.
Validity of the Indian e-Visa for Ivorian Citizens
Tourist e-Visas for Ivorian residents may have 1-month, 1-year, or 5-year validity, each with specific stay limits. Many travelers also use this visa to attend yoga or meditation retreats
The e-Medical visa allows for up to three entries within a period of sixty days, and it is valid for a total of one hundred twenty days from the date it was issued.
The Indian e-Business visa allows for a stay of up to 180 days within the country, and it can be re-entered an unlimited number of times during its one-year validity period.

2. Indian Visa Requirements for Ivorian citizens
Before filing the Indian visa application form, the following documentation, known as the Indian e-Visa entrance criteria, should be obtained:
- The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in India.
- Applicants must hold a valid Côte d'Ivoire passport with at least two blank pages.
- A credit card or debit card with sufficient funds to cover the visa processing fee.
- An active email address to get the e-Visa document
The documents that are listed above are the most important requirements that must be fulfilled by all applicants. However, there is more:
- Visa fees can only be paid using a credit or debit card at the time of application.
- To receive their visas, citizens of Côte d'Ivoire must have a current email address. This email address is also required in the event that there is a problem with the application form or additional information is required from citizens of the Republic of the Côte d'Ivoire.
- To apply, you must have a business letter or a business card.
- When applying for this visa, the applicant is required to present a letter from the hospital that will be providing care.
Because the approval process can take anywhere from two to three business days, Ivorian applicants should submit their application at least four days before their scheduled departure.
India has 28 airports and 5 seaports that accept e-Visa holders. Ivorian residents should be aware that crossing land borders is still not permitted.
When arriving at any of the immigration checkpoints, Ivorian residents will be subjected to a series of inquiries regarding their trip, the nature of which will be determined by the type of visa they hold.
To validate the stay, the necessary documentation will be required. Ivorian citizens are advised to keep a printed copy of their India e-Visa with them at all times during their stay.
Note: Before traveling to India, you should also purchase India travel Insurance, which will protect you against a variety of hazards, including the COVID pandemic, while you are not in your own country. Because this is optional, you should consider it based on your specific personal circumstances.
3. Indian e-Visa fee for Ivorian citizens
India e-Visa fees are classified into two types: mandatory government fees and variable service fees. The government fee is mandatory and non-refundable for Ivorian citizens because the country is not on India's exemption list.
As mentioned earlier, you can choose the service option that best fits your needs. As a consequence of this, we would like to offer you the following two choices for your e-Visa:
- Normal: This is a common service that ensures you receive your e-Visa within five business days.
- Urgent: a higher degree of service that ensures you'll receive your e-Visa within two business days.
