India visa requirements for Nepalese citizens

Citizens of Nepal do not need a visa to enter India (unless they are arriving from mainland China), and can stay in the country for an unlimited period.

Citizens of Nepal need a passport to enter India if they are coming from countries other than Nepal. Nepal citizens do not need a passport if they are entering India from Nepal.
