Do Bruneian citizens need a visa for India?
Yes, all Bruneian citizens traveling to India are required to apply for a visa before departure from the country. Depending on the length and purpose of their stay, they will need to apply for a visa either online or at an Indian embassy or consulate.
Bruneian citizens can apply for an eVisa to India for short visits for tourism, visiting friends and family, business, or short-term medical treatment or medical attendant. It is offered as a single or multiple-entry online visa.
Bruneian nationals can stay in India for a maximum of 90 days with the e-tourist Visa, while the e-business Visa enables them to stay for up to 180 days. The e-medical Visa is a triple entry online visa that permits you to remain for a total of 60 days. All Indian eVisas from Brunei are valid for one year from the date of approval.
Those who intend to visit the nation for other purposes or for a longer amount of time must apply for an Indian visa for Bruneians at the nearest Indian embassy or consulate. Once approved, applicants are required to print a copy of the eVisa to present, alongside their passport, upon entry to India.
