India e-Visa for Papua New Guinea Citizens: Application Guide

To promote tourism, the Indian government introduced an online electronic visa (e-Visa) system to simplify the visa application process for foreign travelers. The Indian e-Visa was initially launched for nationals of 43 countries. To obtain a visa for India, eligible applicants no longer need to visit an Indian embassy or consulate in person.

The program was expanded in April 2017 and is no longer limited to tourist visas. The updated system includes visa categories for medical treatment and business travel. Additionally, the number of eligible countries was significantly expanded.

Citizens of more than 160 countries can now apply for an Indian e-Visa online. Approved Indian e-Visas are issued electronically and sent to applicants via email after successful online submission and payment.

Apply for an Indian e-Visa from Papua New Guinea

Applying for an Indian visa online is the initial step in receiving authorization to enter another nation. A few easy steps make up the application: entering personal information, verifying it all, uploading important papers, scanning documents, paying processing and visa fees, and pressing the submit button. Swift and simple.

The most important thing to remember is that this is a legal document required by a foreign authority. False information or omissions can result in expulsion from the country, among other serious repercussions. Additionally, keep in mind that each traveler needs to have a valid e-Visa.
