- e-Business visa: This type of Indian visa is issued to foreigners who wish to expand their businesses in India or market research in the Indian business environment. They are allowed to stay in India for up to 365 days from the date of issuance, with multiple entries limited to 180 days each.
- e-Conference visa: For visitors from abroad who wish to participate in a conference or seminar in India. A letter of invitation to the conference is required when applying for an e-conference visa. Otherwise, it will be denied. The Indian government may organize such gatherings. With this type of e-Visa, they are only allowed one entry into India and can remain in the country for a maximum of 30 days starting from the day of their arrival.
- e-Medical visa & Medical Attendant: Patients who come to India to seek medical attention from authorized health institutions or kinship who accompany a patient to India to seek medical attention are eligible to receive this travel permit. Sierra Leone residents who have this particular type of e-Visa are permitted to enter India a total of three times throughout their stay in the country, which can last for a maximum of 60 days starting on the day of their entry.
