Can we travel to Goa without a passport?
If you are an Indian citizen, you do not need a passport to travel from inside India to Goa. Indian nationals do not require a passport for internal travel inside India because Goa is a state within that nation.
For identification purposes, you will usually require a passport if you are a foreign person or are going to Goa from another country. During their visit, foreign visitors to Goa are required to have their passport and visa paperwork with them.
It's crucial to remember that depending on your preferred form of transportation, different identification requirements may apply. It is recommended to have a valid government-issued picture ID, such as a passport, driver's license, voter ID, or Aadhaar card, with you when you travel within India by air for identification purposes.
Before visiting Goa or any other place, make sure you have the most recent information on identification requirements by consulting the appropriate authorities or your transportation provider.
